Product Description

New for 2016, the Bacchetta Carbon Basso 2.0 is a revamp of our classic Ti Aero Basso. The Basso is designed for shorter riders and for those looking for a performance bike with slightly less aggressive BB to seat ratio. Right out of the gate we loved the old Basso but it took a few years for consumers to warm to its charms. After production was halted on the Ti-frames the Basso’s reputation as a great “little” speed bike continued to rise and it’s now almost at cult status amongst recumbent aficionados. Since the requests for a small performance bike never really stopped coming in to Bacchetta we started to think about reviving the Basso a year or so ago. The new Basso will be sporting the same Pearl Orange paint job and updated decals as the rest of the 2016 Carbon Aero’s. And unlike the Ti-Basso, which only came in a small size, the Aero Basso is also available in a large frame size. Basso Frame Kits start at $1700.
